So, you know how, when helpful people find something lost in the street (usually single gloves, baby toys, the occasional ring of keys…), they set it in a highly visible spot nearby in case the owner comes back?
This was beside the running path this morning.
Wouldn’t you kinda notice you’d lost a shoe while running? “Hmm. Feeling a little lopsided here. Oh, well, must be the tilt of the earth. Carry on…”
