So, yes, it is probably not my best parenting moment, letting Madam play Minecraft. Although, in my defense, I think it’s not a bad activity, as far as gaming goes. It’s world-building. Plus, it’s the “pocket/creative” version, which means no monsters. Madam is building worlds.

We’ve been watching The Voice as best we can here in Dublin. We’ve been rooting hard for the fab, quirky, seriously talented Melanie Martinez who, testament to America’s persistent affection for middle-of-the-road music, was sent home last week. Boo hiss. Ppppffffllllttt. Madam was devastated. Then she got mad. Then she got creative.
