The harbor at night. For the holidays, the East Pier light is red. If you look hard at the photo and squint a little, you can see the green of the smaller West Pier Lighthouse. We assume it’s for reindeer navigation. Reindeer are not good swimmers.

“Ooh, an orange tree,” I said as we walked by this seaside terrace house. In the next second, it occurred to me that Dublin doesn’t really do orange trees. And this was some sort of fir. Tis the season.
